ATHENS, Ga. — Three Bulldogs carded top-10 individual placements through 36 holes of play as the No. 54 Georgia women's golf team finished the first day of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in second place on Tuesday. Georgia posted a team score of 8-over 594 to place second on the leaderboard through 36 holes. The Bulldogs posted a 7-over 295 followed by a 1-over 289, with four Bulldogs carding par-or-better rounds on the day. Georgia's second-round score of 289 is tied for the fourth-lowest team round posted by the Bulldogs this season.  The Bulldogs sit just three strokes behind tournament leaders Georgia Southern, which finished the day with a 5-over 581. The Bulldogs are 11 strokes ahead of Missouri and Alabama, which are tied for third at +19, and lead Southeastern Conference foe Oklahoma (+24) by 16 strokes. The Bulldogs will compete in the third and final round of the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Wednesday.

ATHENS, Ga. – Seventh-ranked Georgia baseball reached 30 wins on the season with a 16-2 (7 inning/run-rule) victory over Presbyterian at Foley Field Tuesday in front of a crowd of 2,848. Georgia added five more to its NCAA-leading home run total which now stands at 92. Georgia (30-5, 8-4 SEC) welcomes No. 1 Arkansas (30-3, 11-1 SEC) to Foley Field for a three-game series beginning Friday at 6 p.m. 

ATHENS, Ga. - The 18th-ranked Georgia softball team hosts USC-Upstate in the Bulldogs' final home midweek game of the season on Wednesday at Jack Turner Stadium. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. Georgia leads the all-time series 8-2. Georgia hits the road for a three-game series with the Auburn Tigers this weekend. The series begins Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. ET on SEC Network. Saturday's game will begin at 4:30 p.m. ET with Sunday's finale set for 2 p.m. live from Auburn.

ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia freshman Manuela Rotundo has been named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) National Women's Athlete of the Week, according to an announcement. Rotundo, a native of Paysandu, Uruguay, competed in the second collegiate meet of her career and won to become the No. 2 all-time collegiate performer with a school record performance. This is the sixth time in program history that a female student-athlete from Georgia has been named the National Athlete of the Week during the outdoor season and second this season.  Fellow javelin thrower Lianna Davidson earned the honor two weeks ago.  The multi-event track crew will have an opportunity to compete on April 11-12 vat the 44 Farms Team Invitational in College Station, Texas.

WACO, Texas – Three University of Georgia equestrians have been named to the National Collegiate Equestrian Association's Ariat All-America teams, the association accounted Tuesday. Junior Tessa Brown was named first team Fences, graduate Sophia Pilla earned second team Flat nods and junior Alyvia Dixon received honorable mention for Horsemanship. Georgia has enjoyed a two-week break and is set to travel to Ocala, Florida for the NCEA National Championship April 17-19. The Bulldogs received the seven-seed in the competition and will face second-seeded Auburn in the quarterfinals.
