ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia track & field teams traveled to Gainesville, Fla., and Winston-Salem, N.C. to compete at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational and the Wake Forest Invitational this weekend. The Distance Dawgs will open the weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational on Thursday, with the meet continuing through Friday at Kentner Stadium. The rest of the Bulldogs will head to Percy Beard Track on the campus of the University of Florida for the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

FORT WORTH, Tx. - For Georgia gymnast Lily Smith, the goal was always to get back to the NCAA Championships after qualifying as a freshman last spring and earning All-America honors. For fellow sophomore Ady Wahl, she was eager to make her first appearance. Both got it done at the Washington Regional earlier this month. While both GymDogs were hoping to be joined by their teammates at the national championships this week at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Washington Regional, the 10th-ranked GymDogs placed third and didn't advance. Still, Georgia as a team took a big step forward this season under first-year co-head coaches Cécile Canqueteau-Landi and Ryan Roberts.
NASHVILLE,Tn. - Fresh off its latest win over Georgia Tech in Atlanta, fifth-ranked Georgia continues a road trip Thursday in Nashville when it starts a Southeastern Conference series against No. 19 Vanderbilt. First pitch will be at 7 p.m. EDT while Saturday's game begins at 3 p.m. EDT. The entire series will be streamed on SEC Network+ and be available on the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network.
