Woof™ For 16th Best Season in History of UGA Football #6 Final AP Poll (SEC Champs!)

AUBURN, Ala. — The No. 2 ranked and 2-seeded Georgia women's tennis team (23-3, 13-2 SEC) won its third-consecutive Southeastern Conference Tournament Championship after knocking off No. 1-ranked and top-seeded Texas A&M (25-3, 14-1 SEC), 4-2, at the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Sunday. The Bulldogs secured their 11th SEC Tournament title as well as their second conference tourney three-peat in program history, replicating the three-year title winning stretch from 2007-09. Georgia joins Florida as the only two programs in SEC history to accomplish this feat. Georgia has now won four SEC Tournament titles in the last five seasons, facing Texas A&M in each final. The Bulldogs are now 22-6 all-time against the Aggies. Georgia will take a short rest in preparation for NCAA Regionals which will run from May 2-4. The NCAA Selection Show will air on April 28th with host sites and tournament brackets revealed for the upcoming 2025 NCAA Tournament.
