ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia softball team is headed to the Durham Regional to begin the 2025 NCAA Softball Tournament, it was announced Sunday evening. The Bulldogs will be the No. 2 seed in the regional tournament hosted by nationally seeded No. 14 Duke. Coastal Carolina and Howard will also be in the Durham Regional set to begin Friday, May 16. Georgia and Coastal Carolina will face off Friday at 2:30 p.m. ET, on ESPN+. The 2025 NCAA Tournament will be the Bulldogs' 23rd consecutive appearance. Georgia will look to make a run to its sixth Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City. Georgia holds an 80-45 all-time record in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs have advanced to 12 Super Regionals in the program's history. Georgia has advanced to back-to-back Super Regional rounds in the last two seasons.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – No. 23 Alabama snapped top-ranked Georgia's seven-game winning streak Sunday, collecting a 9-3 decision of a suspended game and then posting a 5-4 victory in seven innings at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Georgia finishes 7-8 in SEC road games. The Bulldogs are 9-3 at home in league play and end the regular season with Texas A&M.

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – The No. 22 Georgia men's golf team is set to compete in the NCAA Regional Tournament in Tallahassee, Florida, May 12-14. The regional will feature three, 18-hole rounds of stroke play with the top five teams from each regional advancing along with the highest finishing individual not on an advancing team.
