I'm going to be rich!!!

Not really.

Got a letter in today's mail from a woman purporting to be a lawyer with a Toronto Canada law firm telling me that a
Dr. Bernard Russell died without a will and no known heirs.  If I would sign paperwork saying I was his heir the law firm would split the 11 million plus dollar estate with me.

Didn't ask for money in this first letter, but I'm sure if I replied either to her personal email of the firm's email I'd be asked for bank accounts numbers to deposit my new found wealth and I'd wake up to empty bank accounts.

Appears to be a con along the lines of the African Prince of several years ago.   People have got to be either really greedy or really stupid or both to fall for this garbage.

Even if Bernard Russell was a real person, he is not anywhere in the family tree my older brother spent years researching and compiling.  It would likely be a criminal act to claim to be his heir.

P.S.  The letter from a Toronto Law Firm came with an Atlanta postmark on the envelope.   Confused Confused Confused
