An NIL casualty.
#1
One of my wife's colleagues has a daughter that starts at Georgia in the fall with a full ride for track & field.  Her event was some 800m whatever, not sure.

Anyway, because of this settlement, she lost her scholarship.  The track team just cut her event.  That's rough.

NIL is the death of college athletics as we knew it. Total BULLSHIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Getting you meals, books, tuition, and everything else paid for was not enough I guess. Oh yeah and tutors for all classes since most of them are dumbasses.

Title IX means they'll have to cut some boy's scholarship as well. 2 casualties of NIL.

I'm having a really hard time being a fan of the new college athletics business.

I'd imagine there will be a lot of Title IX lawsuits from ladies losing their schollies.
