Very wet day in NWGA!

And lots of thunderstorms this afternoon predicted

Potentially 4” to 6” before it ends tomorrow morning. Some flash flooding may occur.

At least this system came in with 60 degree air so it’s not snow and ice like last week’s system.

6” of rain would be close to 4’ of snow according to the weather.com graphic that says 1” of rain is equal to approximately 8” of snow.

A bold historical moment for HOTD.  Still tragic about Elmo.

Was it last week that it got down to 10 degrees overnight (I think I read some folk posting single-digit temperatures)? Our low temperature overnight last night was doggone 61 degrees!

Yes, and it rained to beat the band. I think it was around 4:00 am that a huge downpour came through. It has done it a couple of times during the day, today, as well.
