Racist Roundtree told a friend of mine that he shut down DUI checkpoints because too many of "his voters" were getting caught for expired tags, licenses, outstanding warrants, etc.. He also ran off pretty much all of the experienced white deputies by letting them know they would never get a promotion over a less experienced or less qualified black deputy.
