Y'all seen the cost of eggs lately?  Waffle House just announced internally that they are going to add a $0.50 per egg surcharge that may go up further.  Their cost of eggs averaged $1.75 per dozen for the past 5 years, and now it's close to $7.  Eggs are obviously their highest food cost at 15%.  Bacon is second at 9%.

We can go without eggs in our household if we need to, but they're in so much food product that you'll probably see a lot of impact all over the grocery stores and restaurants.
