GUADALAJARA, Mexico —Chantal El Chaib led the Georgia women's golf team with a 27th-place individual finish as the Bulldogs placed 10th at the Collegiate Invitational at Guadalajara Country Club on Saturday.The Bulldogs will conclude a stretch of three-straight tournament weekends at the San Diego State Classic on Monday-Tuesday, Feb. 10-11. The tournament will be held at The Heights Golf Club, in San Diego, Calif.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. --- For the second time in as many years, the women's 4x400-meter relay team shattered the school record at the Razorback Invitational, highlighting a successful meet weekend for the Bulldogs in Arkansas. In their first relay together, Aaliyah Butler, Michelle Smith, Haley Tate, and Dejanea Oakley ran a blistering 3:27.95 to unseat Georgia's previous school record from the 2024 Razorback Invitational. The quartet finished second at this year's meet with the No. 2 time in the world this year.
[*]The men's 4x400m relay also surged into the record books as Will Floyd, Shemar Chambers, Xai Ricks, and Ervin "Flash" Pearson clocked a 3:07.08 to finish third. The time ranks seventh program history in the event. Freshman Skylynn Townsend continued her strong start to the season with a runner-up finish in the triple jump, leaping 13.30 meters/43 feet, 7.75 inches on her fifth attempt to become the No. 8 performer in program history. Junior sprinter Kaila Jackson delivered a runner-up performance in the 60m, clocking a 7.32 in her season debut. She clocked a third-place time of 7.34 in the prelims before finishing second in the finals.

ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Georgia swimming and diving teams cruised to victory over Emory on Senior Day Saturday at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium. Prior to the meet, 30 members of the Georgia senior class were recognized for their contributions to the program. The Bulldogs host a loaded field at the 2025 Southeastern Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, running Feb. 17-22 at Bauerle Pool at Gabrielsen Natatorium.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Georgia Bulldogs men's basketball (15-7, 3-6 SEC) fell to the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (19-3, 8-1 SEC), 90-69, on Saturday afternoon at the Coleman Coliseum. Two scorers reached double figures led by freshman forward Asa Newell's 16 points on the day. The Bulldogs will return to Athens where they will face LSU on Wednesday, Feb. 5 with tipoff set at 9 p.m. ET at Stegeman Coliseum. The game will be televised on SEC Network.

ATHENS, Ga. — After coming back from 3-0 down to level the match, the No. 1 Georgia women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season, falling 3-4 to No. 8 North Carolina at the Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Tennis Facility on Saturday. The No. 1 Bulldogs will travel for the first time this spring season when they compete at the 2025 ITA National Team Indoor Championships running from Feb. 7-11 at Combe Tennis Center in Evanston, Ill.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The University of Georgia men's tennis team fell to No. 4 Wake Forest, 4-3, at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex on Saturday afternoon. Georgia prepares for a three-match home stand at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex facing Georgia Tech on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6:00 p.m. E.T., No. 5 Virginia on Friday, Feb. 7 at 6:00 p.m. E.T. and North Carolina on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1:00 p.m. E.T.
