6 years! Time really does get away.

I was talking to Terry Childers, the catcher, last year and we were talking retiring OTD's number.  He told me the team had approached BM about doing that when he died and BM told them they would have to donate $100,000 to get the number retired.  He said they did get BM to agree to put some sort of plaque or sign in the locker room.
